OUR PLAN

Triple Inc. offers internships for college students interested in the aerospace machining industry. The internship is structured to provide hands-on experiences through the following:

  • project-based tasks
  • working directly with our personnel in production, quality, engineering, and office support
  • continuous improvement projects

Previous intern projects have included filming and producing promotional videos, performing in-depth inventory analysis, operating machines, engineering fixtures and building them, and programming and running quality equipment.  

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or any CNC Programming, CNC Machining or Skills trade program related to machining.

Ready to work in a variety of work environments including the shop floor, quality lab and office settings.

Students must be available full time (minimum of 40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks in the summer.

Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Are internships paid?

Yes, interns are compensated at a competitive hourly rate for their full-time work.

Are the positions on-site or remote?

All internships are on-site at one of our three locations in Troy, MI.

Do you offer internships other than during the summer?

Yes, Triple is flexible in offering internships any time during the year.

Can I work around a class that I scheduled?

Yes, Triple offers a flexible work schedule to work around school schedules. The outside commitments need to be communicated and a regular schedule will need to be established.

What do you look for on a resume to be considered for an internship?

Clear & concise, easy to read format (be sure to spellcheck).

Extracurricular activities (even if not engineering related – clubs, labs, work experience, etc.).


CAD/CAM and machining knowledge.

Leadership, GD&T, or previous internship experience is always a plus.

Interests & hobbies outside of college classes (we want to get to know you!).
